BACK IN THE OLD DAYS IN JAPAN, SAKABUKURO (SAKE BAG) was used to in the JP SAKE breawery for the filtration to purify the SAKE.
However these bags are no longer used in the SAKE breawerly since the technology has upgraded and its done by machine now.
We select only ones with the hand sewing repairs which is called "MAMUSHI NUI", MAMUSHI means a viper in JP, and "NUI" means sewing.
Back when there was no such a thing like sewing machine, every little thing was done by hand.
